Red square dots plot the mines shafts (furthest left is on the pavement, a patchwork of tarmac repair can still be seen to day where a hole appeared in the 1990s)
Blue wavy dotted line plots the Adit which starts deeper into the hillside towards Steeple Woods & flows out to sea. It still exists today.

The white areas showing the plots to be sold, were traced from the Architects plan by us - their Plan deceptively shows tiny builds, which the west-area sub committee - suitably fooled - kept refferring to as 'chalets'!.
